Now I know a golf club isn’t your usual choice for a child-friendly restaurant but bear with me as you might be pleasantly surprised about what Port St Mary Golf Pavilion has to offer!
Firstly, access into the restaurant is easy as there’s a ramp and there’s a little space to park up your pram if it isn’t too busy. They have three Ikea highchairs (with trays) and they even have the inflatable insert to support younger babies (we used one when Millie was about 6-7 months old as she was often too small to be secure in a highchair).
There are a lot of activities to keep children of all ages entertained including bead mazes, books, colouring, dominoes and drafts.
Port St Mary Golf Pavilion have a children’s menu with food costing £5.50 which includes a main meal (sausages, fish, chicken nuggets or a sandwich), glass of squash and ice cream for dessert. The children are able to choose which paper menu they would like to colour in. Millie’s drink was served in a beaker with a lid and her food came with small metal cutlery which was brilliant.
Changing facilities can be found in the accessible toilet and includes a drop-down changing table with complimentary nappy bags, wipes and even some nappies.
The lady who served us was very friendly and welcoming and took the time to talk to Millie quite a lot which I always think makes a family feel welcome. Port St Mary Golf Pavilion is somewhere we will definitely come back to.
