Bride play area is located on the corner of Lamb Hill and Cranstal Road and is a short walk away from the public car park (next door to the tea room). Within the car park are public toilets which are incredibly handy when your toddler likes to announce she needs a wee at the very last minute (or of course if you’re an adult with an increasingly shrinking bladder!).
The park is enclosed with two entrances – a stepped access near the roundabout and a pram-friendly, gated access further down the road (it is on a slight hill but it’s not too awkward for a pram…just don’t let go!).
There’s equipment for both older and younger children but I would say the equipment for younger children is better for confident walkers/climbers rather than smaller tots. There’s a large grassy area with goals and a basketball hoop as well as the park equipment.
I really liked this park as it had completely different equipment to most of the parks we’ve been to. It’s worth mentioning that the flooring can be really slippy when wet and both me and Millie had a little accidental skate at one point!
This is somewhere we will definitely be coming back to, especially as there’s a lovely tearoom close by (review coming soon).
