Glen Helen play area has plenty of free parking and is a beautiful spot to walk. The path is pram-friendly but can be a little bumpy in places. The walk to the waterfall is well worth it which takes around 30 minutes return for an adult, but more like 45 with a toddler! We enjoy sitting on the bench watching the waterfall and having a well-deserved snack.
The park can be accessed via ramps but it’s worth mentioning that the ground within the park can get quite squelchy under foot so wellies in the winter is a must!
The park is enclosed and has two slides, swings (including baby swings), a roundabout, spring rockers and a see-saw.
There are publics toilets a short distance from the park.
The addition of the Glen Helen Glamping within the old Glen Helen Inn site has been welcomed and so if you are staying there with kids, the play area is a must!
